Mini cooper no crank no start

Nov 16, 2008 · also check that the pcm harness is in right and that the 3 connectors on the rear valve cover are tight and connected as if one of those is loose it will cause a no start issue. other then that check the crank sensor as that will cause a no-start also. 1 - 8 of 8 Posts
Jan 01, 2010 · The car cranks fine but will not start and there is no sparks at the plugs. I can not find a solution for this problem. I know leaving the coil wire groind off caused the problem but I tested all fuses, relays,sensors nothing.

Connect a test lamp across the two terminals on the ignition module. Take a look at the test light while you crank the engine over. The light should be flashing while you crank it. If it does not you need to replace the module. The only other thing I can think of would be the the ICM or the Crank sensor.
